I'd go for the samsung 1080p 1ms 144hz monitor. Your gaming experience will be really good on it. BTW, what graphics card and cpu combo do you have?

for Squad I would say go 27 or bigger mate, and 1440p for sure.

I' not an ultrawide fan myself, and use a 32 1440p 16:9 screen and it's fantastic for Squad or similar games.

Why 1440p for sure ? It's more expensive with  qhd

Ok on your rig you would need to stick at 1080p for Squad to hold reasonable FPS right now until they optimise it for release (and even then I highley doubt your rig will be powerful enough re the CPU but it depends on the FPS you want).

Keep in mind the 144hz will not benefit you in Squad, but will on some other games. (what sort of FPS are you getting in Squad now?)

1440p on 27 is a great mix for Squad, it aids visibility.
