Hello,

I am going to make my SSD in to a dual boot.

For some reason there is an old boot sector on one of my mechanical drives.

I tried to format it ( In windows ) and that didn't work.

If i reinstall a windows version can i delete the volume and that will fix it.

If this is not the way to go, how would i do it?

How do i make sure that the boot sector will be on my SSD?

When i reinstall the second O/S do you advise me to unplug all the other drives?

You should be able to delete the volume during Windows installation.

It's best to unplug other drives before installing Windows.
