The fact that this is posted in hot deals is depressing.

It was a deal the other day. It really is sad.

Also I should note after looking on PCPartPicker for prices, there are a couple cheaper models out there...not by much but still a few extra dollars to save. Cheapest 1070 on PCPartPicker is $570. At least it’s something and prices are starting to trend down.

Ah yes, $70 above 1080 MSRP. This sucks.

Canadian stores like Canada Computers and Memory Express look pretty affected, to me.

My EVGA GTX 1070 GPU costs almost $200 more now than it did when I purchased it when it first released.

Also, $360 USD for the MSI Gaming GTX 1060 in the OP should be $464 CAD. But the price of that same GTX 1060 in Canada is $529 (sale price) - $569 CAD.

There are multiple options of the 1060 6GB under $400 USD. The cheapest 1070 is at $570. So it’s pretty much the same. That is just from PCPartPicker, not even including special deals across different stores.
