And look at the terrible door and trunk alignment on this one for example,while a nice car it's overpriced for the quality. I don't hate Tesla cars but the quality isn't there yet with the hype they receive.

And how much will the battery replacement cost in a few years? Conventional diesel trucks go 500k miles without any major engine servicing and can go more than 60mph up a 5% grade.

It sounds like you are hating on them to hate. Have you sat it one? Have you talked in real life to an owner? I will give you the fact they are relatively new so most cars aren't over 200,000 miles yet but they have a fraction of the moving parts as a combustion engine. The lipo batteries are also environmentally controlled so they are kept at the optimal operation range and don't discharge all the way prolonging the life significantly. The nissan leaf looses almost 100 miles in cold weather while the tesla will loose 10 from the heating of the car cabin. Electric cars are the future and most car companies see that

our company neighbor just had to have his door handle replaced TWICE.... because it fell off  LMAO.  some 100,000 dollar car
