Not dangerous at all, some combinations of components cause coil whine. For example say you have a GTX 1080, if you use a Corsair AX1200i it might whine, while if you use an EVGA power supply it might be silent. 

 

No harm at all.

It's not harmful, it's a potential problem in electrical components that use electric coils, so it's normal. If you find it annoying you can try contacting corsair about seeking a replacement, but they're not under any obligation to provide one unless there's a defect or something like that. Otherwise you could buy a different PSU but there's a small chance for any PSU to have/develop coil whine

Then don't stick your head into your PSU. 

 

Coil whine is not dangerous at all.  It's just vibrating magnetics.
