You can, but it's not ideal. It's an ancient card for modern use.

Your integrated graphics will probably beat it, no?

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

Does this mean that they can easily use an integrated graphics card, or it's better to use this old

He talking about the CPU your using. Like the i7-7700k has Intel HD Graphics 630 already in the chip, so you don't need any kind of GPU, to produce images, however for games your going to want a GPU....but something more modern than what your getting.

I don't think you can use Windows 7 on your CPU. You should put Windows 10 64-bit on it.

When you bought the i3-8100 and Asus Maximus X Hero motherboard...the windows 7 is already on the old hard disk...right?

You have connected you windows 7 hard disk to your new machine..right?

If your answer is YES, then you have to re-installed the windows 7 on your new machine. Windows 10 64 bit would be preferred.

Once you get your new graphics card, just installed it with the latest driver.  I hope you have more than 4GB DDR4 RAM, if yes..then you should use 64 Bit Windows.

Hope this helps.
