Pc powers up, fans spin, then turns off

Slurpy

I got a BSOD for memory management. I went into the bios and enabled XMP, to see if that would change anything, and something it did change. The pc powers on, fans spin up, then the RGB turn off, fans spin down, then it repeats the process. This is happening 2 days after upgrading my ram from 16 to 32, and my Graphics card from a 1070 to a 1080

here is a video of what is happening:

I have extra graphics cards I can use to troubleshoot, but I beleive this is a ram issue

the ram was at 2100mhz but XMP set it to 3000mhz

TrY clearing your CMOS. Find a jumper that says clr_cmos, or a button that says something like that

So I just short that with a screwdriver?

If there isn’t a plastic jumper then yeah, short it with a screwdriver. I’m not 100% sure if you have to do it when the pc is on or off. @Crunchy Dragon would you know?

You do it when the computer is turned off. Usually if you just remove the battery from the motherboard for ~30 seconds and put it back in, you're good.

My graphics card is covering half of the battery, and I can’t seem to get it out, is there way to do it without removing the battery?

You could remove the GPU.
