Getting an 0d reading off the board which is a X399 AsRock Taichi on a new build. The manual says to clear CMOS, what exactly does that mean? Thank you in advance!

For some boards there is a button to do so, the easy way would be to remove the 3V battery on the motherboard for around 30 seconds.

The CMOS is what saves your BIOS settings. Usually the CMOS can be cleared by removing the battery on the motherboard located in the general area of the chipset heatsink.

Thank you both for the prompt replies! I will try.

Tried removing the battery several times, no luck. I suspect the problem is because I’m trying to boot up with a Quadro display port PCIE card without drivers installed. I’m gonna borrow a 1080 Ti, and see if i can boot with that.
