Do you need a dual boot?

Id personally just add a second hdd for files, but a i have a bin of hdds for this.

You can move the data with some programs, but its a pain.

I would be willing to ditch the Z: partition.

I would add a 2nd HDD and I have loads of spare laptop HDD's, would I be able to put these into a PC, I don't know if my PC has 2 SATA cable.

I have no data thats important on the Z: partition.

If you don't need that z drive, id just delete it and expand your main drive.

@lukemcfc Well, right off the bat we could assign both spaces partitions and drive letters then use DrivePool. Unless you have a second larger disk around we'd have to opt out the parody disk.

If you want to dedicate that to be the share drive you can. It'd let you keep your Windows 7 install.

Would there be enough SATA ports on the inside to handle it?

I've never seen a motherboard that supports SATA with only 1 SATA port so I'd bet yes but I cannot say that's a guarantee.
