So I bought a new system.

A 1080ti, 1800x and all.

For a cooling solution I chose Arctic freezer 240 since it has 4 fans and a friend who has several very decent systems, with different cooling solutions, said he was very happy with this aio.

Well I got fucked. The aio I bought had no am4 retention bracket. I asked Arctic to send me one and they did but I live in Israel and the postal service here is beyond horrible. It is two weeks late now, tacking number gives nothing and with my previous experience I know it will take Months to arrive.

So I thought about ordering another one but how would that be any different than waiting for Arctic to deliver? So I went looking for a standalone bracket for sale in local retailers and chop shops. Nothing.

One of them does have an Antec and a Corsair am4 bracket (at a ridiculously overpriced rate) but idk if it will fit the Arctic aio. There's no info about the diameter of the ring and the holding teeth size. The screws will fit alright. No way they won't but I need the ring to fit as well.

Any of you guys have any idea how to fix this annoying situation? Mail order is out of questions. Even ups and dhl take months to bring shit, here in IL.

Returning the aio and getting a corsair is also not a good option because I bought my aio 460 km from here and it has been over 2 weeks now. It will be an issue to disassemble it, stick it back in a box, bring it to the shop and ask for my money back.

I may have to end up using some makeshift, crappy, alternative till the bracket arrives from Arctic but I'd really rather not.

Thank you guys for the attention and I hope anyone can answer, with reasonable certainty whether antec or corsair brackets fit the arctic freezer pump head.

Antec and Corsair brackets will likely not work.

One thing you could try is zipties, you could probably get enough tension with a few of those to sufficiently cool your CPU.

Go zip-tie, or maybe 3D print? Maybe someone already made a design you can use, you only need it printed if you can find one.

I had this problem with my 120 ... Arctic will supposedly send you one for free ... but ...

I brought it back to the seller and complained and asked if Arctic had maybe sent them some, they said no. They did a search on their site and nothing came up except a Thermaltake AM4 retention bracket ... I asked if we could open one to take a look as to me it looked like it might work. Indeed it did - fit flawlessly, and I got to keep the cooler I really wanted, for only an extra $10.  IF you can find one locally, it'll work. I can't speak for the 240 - but the push-pull 120 works incredibly well.
