Asus PG278Q - G-sync & Questions

Hi guys,
I'm selling a 1080 and a guy has offered me £200 and an Asus PG278Q for it.

Seems a pretty good deal to me but was wondering if you guys had any experience with them, common issues and just your opinions on G-sync as it's something that has really interested me since its inception especially on higher Hz Models.

As long as you verify that the monitor works (with g-sync) yeah it seems like a good deal. Those monitors are about $550 AUD and a gtx 1080 is about $900 AUD (although you can get those $950 AUD ones like the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080, 8GB)

 

So that translates to like £311.65 for the monitor and £538.30 for the GPU. So good price.

I'm selling a strix 1080 as I got a real good price on a 1080ti. I've put the 1080 up for £500 so would effectively be paying 300 for the monitor.

Just be aware it's a 1st gen G-Sync monitor, so it only has a single DisplayPort input and nothing else.

I'm aware thanks, will be keeping my current monitor as a secondary for if I buy a games console.
