If I am going to spend X amount of dollars, why not put a few more and get the best thing. I don't really game alot just Paragon and Smite some times. No AAA titles. So, I see your point. thnx

Because it's wholly unessisary and if I'm not mistaken a 1050/i5 laptop is maybe $999? And it will do the job just fine, though I think I'd always get an i7.

Or just a Ryzen APU if there's any good ones yet.
