I. Need. Help.

My ASUS K501-WH74 laptop doesn't power up anymore. I've had this device for a little under a year now. When the battery is in and the charger is plugged in, one of the fans (the bigger one) starts up for a few seconds. The power and charge indicators also come on for the same amount of time, and then it shuts off. When the battery is disconnected but still plugged in, the power and airplane mode indicators blink continuously. The battery doesn't charge. This issue only started yesterday. Please I need solutions to this as soon as possible because I'm an Architecture student and I need to get this device up and running before the end of next week. Thank you.

If the laptop is covered under warranty, RMA is how you get it replaced from the manufacture. You will need to contact Asus to open a support case with them on it to get the RMA process going to replace the laptop.

Probably something crucial like mobo is dead. Time for RMA or, buy a new one. I've seen many Asus low end-mid range laptops that fail within a year.
