Do I need a router

Hi all,

Just watching old NICX Tech Tips (RIP) video and it was talking about routers. I have been supplied with a ‘Modern, Router, Switch, AP’ all-in-one (that’s what I call it) from my IP and I was wondering if I needed/want a router still.

well honestly it really depends. some of those all in one boxes are fine others are absolutely trash, either completely outdated or just very underpowered. so we can't really say without knowing what your box is.

 

but even if it'S trash it will still "work" even if barely usable
