Random crashes

so im getting random crashes and the cause seems to be chrome because it only happens when chrome is running in the background, but here is the story

 

a couple weeks ago i was getting blue screens with a second monitor connected so i stopped using it and no more about a week ago i started getting crashes all the time. i dont get blue screens my computer just freezes it completely just stops and crashes and the only to fix it is a restart everything is at stock no errors in prime95 or memtest any ideas

specs: 

fx6100

16 gigs ram

(just recently took out the other 560ti and put in the boost but this was happening before that)

If you had you GPU overclocked then that may be the problem.  I say this because, the new GPU may not be able to be stable at those frequencies.

I had that problem on a old gaming computer before whenever i opened certain programs it would crash... my problem was my ram, i had a faulty dimm, you may as well give it a shot and try removing a few dimms and switching them around in their slots or leave a couple out and start up your pc... worth a shot.
