How does the Heating look?

Go to solution Solved by mvitkun,

Your friend obviously doesn't know anything about computers.

No it won't melt or even run all that hot.

You might want to buy a decent heatsink for the i5 4670K since you have an overclocking enabled processor and motherboard, just so you can get the most out of your processor, but it won't 'melt' or even overheat at stock clocks with the intel stock cooler.

Also it's typically not referred to as the heating, but rather the cooling, because the heating seems to imply that you want to it run hotter.

These are my parts and I'm wondering if i need more cooling parts.

*Case: Corsair 750D ATX Full Tower Case

*CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4

*Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z87

*GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 760 (Updated)

*Storage: SSD: Samsung EVO 840 120 GB (Primary) Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB

Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum (16GB) *Cooling: Corsair H100i

*OS: Window 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

*Wireless Adapter: Asus USB-N13 802.11b/g/n

*Optical Drive: ASUS DRW

*PSU: Corsair RM 550W

So I'm good on the heating

*Cooling just say cooling to avoid confusion.

Your friend doesn't know much I'm afraid, the components would shut down long before any ACTUAL melting occurred but you won't have any issues and you should ignore your friend from this point on.
