When I try to drag folders/files for example in "downloads" to a folder in the left bar it shows a STOP sign and won't let me drag it in. Please help

Also the power cable is plugged into a power extension...does that make a difference?

So this has been happening for some time but its starting to really bug me. When I'm using my computer for just anything at all, sometimes everything shuts down and automatically restarts itself after a couple of seconds. I don't know if its the PSU or whatever. I just need to find out what going on with it.
