Hello All,

So my CPU lately has been weird on the thermals it would jump from 21 deg to 72 in seconds and i have a corsair liquid cooler that is working properly and running good, when the load goes up the temps skyrocket and a took a thermal camera to it and it was chilling around 45 deg not 75-80 and ive tried 2 different software to see if it was the program

What is your other hardware? CPU, MB, PSU, Case, etc...

What software are you using to measure? This will help. Is the temp being measured from Corsair, HWMonitor, MB, etc?? Are the thermals coming from the pump? Or Socket? or VRM? (screenshots are always very helpful)

What kind of load are you doing? (again, knowing your hardware will help as well.

Can you provide a photo of the thermal camera view?

Also, how long as the AIO been on the CPU? how long has this been happening? Do you live in a smoking household? Did you use stock or aftermarket thermal paste?

(Nice location BTW. Got a good laugh).

Asus z270e Gaming 750w rx corsair thermaltake chaser Mk-2 (Big one) Titan Xp Collectors edition and a gtx 1050 cinabench and gta (benchmark and gaming) aio has been on cpu for over 3 months 5 days no smokers aftermarket (Arctic silver 5)

How fast are the fans running? Try turning them up manually to see if they make a big difference to temps. The temps you're getting aren't dangerous or anything, so it may be that the AIO is keeping the fans at a minimum speed needed to keep the temps in a safe range.

If they're running at high RPMs, then the temps would seem high for a 360mm rad. In that case, you may want to remove the block from the CPU, clean off the TIM, then reapply it and re-install the block, making sure to tighten the screws in a cross (not one side first) pattern to ensure the block is making proper contact with the CPU.

What is your cooler fan profile? What are you using to put it under load? I mean, my CPU will go from mid 40s to 60-70 when under high load (R7 1700x @ 3.9Ghz). When you say the temperature rises fast, what is "fast" to you and how is it different than before?

I also use AS5 on my desktop.

What is your exhaust setup? (I don't think it should matter too much since the collecters edition is a blower isn't it?)

Where is your radiator mounted? What is your fan speed?

Top mounted rad full speed on all fans and cinebench

before mounting the block over the CPU, is the backplate loose or tight?

What is your overclock? Voltage?

What did your max temps used to look like?

I might of made a breakthrough here i noticed when i ran a cinabench and aida 64 pro stability test that the temperature was different between the corsair software, cpuid, and aida but not by much but i did notice that on aida 64 the graph would cut out for about 5 seconds and then come back without reporting the temps between the time it cut out could it just be the sensors gone bad?
