can i use a corsair ml120 pro rgb with a nzxt hue+ insted of a corsair commander pro?

To control the RGB? No. They are different proprietary connections.

Adapter, probably no. Too small markets yet for such. Cut wires, maybe if you have knowledge on working with electronics and are willing to void both warranties.
