The 212 Evo is great for that. If you want to push some higher clocks like 4.6+ ghz, get the Havik 140.

Budget = Evo 212. Push Pull got me around 70C while rendering at 4.5ghz

Middle = NH D-14. Good as any single rad water cooler and quieter.

Don't give a damn about safe voltage aka passing 1.3 volts = h100i or better yet custom loop. Voltage will kill chip as easily as temp though. I wouldn't do this unless I could afford to lose the chip, or unless you REALLY like the aesthetics of water cooling.

CPU:24/7-4770k @ 4.5ghz/4.0 cache @ 1.22V override, 1.776 VCCIN. MB: Z87-G41 PC Mate. Cooling: Hyper 212 evo push/pull. Ram: Gskill Ares 1600 CL9 @ 2133 1.56v 10-12-10-31-T1 150 TRFC. Case: HAF 912 stock fans (no LED crap). HD: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB. Display: Dell S2340M IPS. GPU: Sapphire Tri-x R9 290. PSU:CX600M OS: Win 7 64 bit/Mac OS X Mavericks, dual boot Hackintosh.

+1 on Hyper 212 Evo or NH-D14 depending on budget. If you want the best cooler, it would probably be the H220 or Glacier 240L (AIO coolers) imo.

if you don t care about noise, i suggest a hyper 212 with 2 30 watts 4600rpm 220 cfm deltas (60+db) in push pull.

it ll cool better than a any cooler(even h220) and when you ll power on your comp you ll hear a leafblower start...

and continue to hear it till you close the comp...

and itll come in cheaper than a nhd14/h100

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.
