1) no one knows, all rumours

2) no AM3+ boards coming cuz the platform is dead... the companies are waiting for a new chipset, they wont make new boards for a old chipset cuz they cant if amd doesnt update it

3) why would you upgrade? you want to CF? then yes

AM3+ is a dead socket AMD are moving to FM2+

PCI3.0 is a marketing gimmic has almost no gain over 2.0

PCI3.0 runs at effective x8,x8 = x16 of PCI2.0

huh ... pcie 3.0 is theoratically twice as fast .... was pcie 2.0 also only a marketing gimic

Am3+ isn't dead their not going to make a new mobo if a new chipset is just around the corner amd says they keep the current line for most of next year that may mean we may see some new am3 chipsets with ddr4

I was talking in terms of Crossfire/SLI setups.

Two SLI cards in PCI3.0 forces the slots into x8 config meaning both together have the same theoretical speeds of 1 x16 PCI2.0

Nothing comes close to using the full bandwidth of PCI2.0 at the moment so why bother with 3,4 its just for bragging.

And most PCI-E 2.0 boards worth their salt use 16x/16x PCI-E 2.0 so it makes no difference.
