Ive been looking at many different ways people have tried to cool their systems. The common oil cooling being mercury, gallium and mineral oil. Im thinking of doing oil as well but not as the main source of cooling.My idea is to use water as the main fluid but to add food coloring or oil to obtain a effect. Im trying to go for a swirling effect in the tubs while the pump is running. To not cause stress on the pump im thinking of using 80% water and 20% food coloring or oil. So you see any problems with this like bacteria or corrosion please and thank you.

Get proper fluid, food coloring just stains everything and will cause growth as it's made of sugars. Do not mix oil, water and coloring go with a proper premixed fliud, if you want a swirl effect look into Primochill Vue or Mayhems Aurora, be warned though they are not easy fluids to manage or work with. They are high maintenance and require lots of experience to ensure you get a good long term result.
