Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum, i couldn't see where else to put it.

I need to clean my pc, the dust has raised my cpu temps by 40°c. I have never cleaned a pc with air dusters before so i am just following that old linus video "PC Dust Elimination - The Rugged, Manly Way" where he uses compressed air and a paintbrush, (i can't afford the electric vacuum.)

Will these be good enough/safe to clean a pc with?    http://amzn.eu/8jmxtSN

If not, please advise me on what i should use, thank you.

I agree with synawke. You don't need to buy anything special. Go to walmart, buy a 1" wide paintbrush if you want (I use one personally), or just use paper towels to knock dust loose so the air will blow it out. Then grab you one of the 3packs of canned air if your walmart sells them in multi packs. Otherwise buy a few cans individually as you'll likely burn through one can pretty fast.

I personally use paint brush+a vacuum cleaner to suck all the dust as I wipe it off. And some cheap cans with compressed air to get into hard spots of the case.

You don't need to go super technical here.

I use compressed air and vacuum for general cleaning. Yours sounds like you might need to take fans and cooler out of the case. Wipe blades and heatsink with soft paper towels, you can wash heatsink if it's aftermarket one. Then wipe or wash dust filters and wipe case. Also remember to change thermal paste.

40C is really high raise in temps. I would also look to other reasons behind it if cleaning doesn't fix the issue.
