phenom ii x4 955 temps

my cpu temps are 39~42 idle and 58~62 while gaming, is it too high?

It doesn't seem bad. I would assume you're using the stock heatsink?

 

I wouldn't worry to much about those temps. Those aren't closer to high enough to damage anything.

You could do that. It might drop by about 5 degrees or so depending on what paste you use and how old it bad the parts on there is. If it's original, then yes, go ahead. If you live in a smoking household, then yes change it as well.

changed it and it went to 55~58C .. idk its the winter atm, maybe this is how phenom cpus are..
