Is windows installed on the computer?

No, not yet. I have windows on a flashdrive, but when I plugged it nothing popped up. I was told that the motherboard was fried so I haven't thought that is all it would need. Would this mean the motherboard is fine?

Thanks,

Portz:D

Have you followed the onscreen instructions? Like pressing enter to enter the BIOS utility.

Me again. In relation to yesterdays post you are left with a problem. Not only is the bios is corrupt but todays post indicates that although the motherboard has a hardware assisted bios update feature it appears USB compatibility has been disable which is rendering it useless.

However if you are really extra special lucky a cmos reset might get you back to a point where it will accept a new bios from usb.

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

@TheBeastPC yeah, I got into the BIOS utility. Sadly, I couldn't find the place to change the boot priority to the flash drive. @keskparane Yeah having some issues still. I just don't know how to work this BIOS utility system, I've messed with are the basic blue and white screen window ones and those are super simple. I believe the only one I've messed is called Phoenix _ AwardBIOS CMOS Setup Utility

Thanks,

Portz:D

Is there anything in the BIOS utility that has the option to boot off of the USB stick?

Yeah, I can @TheBeastPC. Give me a minute, I am doing my engineering homework for school

Oh, you can get into bios. That's good news. I had got the impression from yesterdays post that you couldn't.

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.
