Domain and Proxy Question

If a computer is on a domain and I am putting the computer behind a proxy server will the proxy server mess up the computers communication with the domain controller? Does the proxy need to grab DNS from the domain controller?

do you mean windows domain?if yes a proxy works fine as a proxy only affects the configured app, not the whole system

I mean the dns of the proxy server; does the proxy servers dns need to be pointing to the domain controllers/dns server?
