did you mean ultrawide (21:9, 2560x1080) or did you mean widescreen (16:9, back when 4:3 was common and widescreen referred to 16:9, 1920x1080)

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Either or, it's for a friend, and all good suggestions will be considered. However, I suspect that she'll want 21:9 over 16:9, but most of all, bang for the buck FTW.

for an ultrawide I wouldn't go under a 34" but that's my personal preference, it's the same as a 27" 16x9 just with extra room on each side.  But some people don't mind smaller so you could get 29".

What is she going to use it for? If gaming what are system specs?

Panel type depends on use and so does resolution.  You're not giving us much to go on.

I concur with the size recommendations,  and I'm sorry I didn't give you more information to go on. Here's pretty much what'sgoing down build- wise

That's a helluva build right there.  I would go off of the selection @themctipers as a good idea of what variety there is.  Once you have shown her that list you can figure out the style she want's and then find the exact model that's best.
