Hoi4 Bad FPS

So I recently swapped out a A8-7600 in my HTPC and swapped it for a FX 8350 which should be better in evrey way right?

I tried playing CS and stuff and it was fine,however the moment I launched HOI it was literally unplayable.I have all of the 3-D stuff turned off yet HOI isn't even hitting 4~FPS

Can I ask how you managed to boot a AM3+ CPU into an FM2+ motherboard?

Aha, you didn't think it'd be prudent to mention this? Anyway, I hope it was dirt cheap because the 8350 was shit even when it launched.

So it was second hand? Who knows what the fuck happened to it. If the guy was 'smart' enough to overclock it on that 4+1 board, there's a good chance the VRM's are just shot and it's constantly tripping the throttle.
