Computer doesn't boot up but LED lights up

Go to solution Solved by BlueChinchillaEatingDorito,

Clear the CMOS, remove the GPU and see if the board will at least turn on. But I feel that your PSU is the culprit, it looks shady af. Looks like one of those cheap overrated ones.

Computer stopped working randomly as i was away. I do not know the reason for it to happen.

When i came back computer was already off, videocard was pretty hot and the videocard fan was stuck, BUT!

When I press the Power button, Power LED lights up, but none of the coolers start. Processor fan moves a little bit, but nothing more.

No signal on the display either. I tried to restart it, but it didn't help.

SPECS:

Motherboard: N68 - VS3 UCC (Asrock)

Processor: Phenom II, am3 socket

Videocard: Nvidia GTS450

PSU: QORI SuperPower 450w

Processor fan: Cooler Master (I don't know the model specifically)

P.S: Motherboard was diagnosed with "blown capacitors" but it still worked perfectly.

P.P.S: I don't have much money, so i can't fix it just by buying a new PC, etc.

If I had to guess, I’d say your motherboard is dead, especiallly considering the age. A motherboard with a bad short will cause the problem you are describing. Worth trying troubleshooting thogh. Here’s a video that might help with general troubleshooting. Good luck!!
