Is this monitor backlight bleed acceptable ?

I just bought a LG 24MP88HV, the backbleed in daylight is unnoticeable but when use at night it kind of bother me. Is this acceptable ? Should i go return it ?

for a 200$ 1080 monitor , that's pretty crappy. I've seen monitors that are 15 years old not look anywhere near that bad.
