Nvidia gt 720m Clock speed error

i tried reinstalling the drivers 

energy on max perfomence on nvidia controller

un installing the drivers with ddu driver display uninstaller

and reinstaling the nvidia driver and nothing

clock speed is the same

2 day ago i manage to reach 788 mhz clock speed but my battery run off and when windows boot up againg it stays on 270mhz

my lops top is a dell latitud e5440

Run a game and then check clock speeds. Going by what your pictures look like, I would say you're looking at the current speed of the GPU during idle.

 

When I have nothing that takes GPU power to run, Afterburner says my GTX 780 is running at 324Mhz. However, it will reach my overclock speed of 1105Mhz when I run a game.

if the gpu is not under load then it will always downclock to save power

 

does the gpu clock speed stay the same even when there is a load on the gpu?
