PC keeps randomly freezing

Hydra453

Rig: i5 6400 stock cooler, Asus h110m mobo, msi armory GTX 1060 6gb, 16 GB ddr4 corsair vengeance ram, SanDisk 128gb ssd for boot drive, 500gb hard drive and another 1tb hardrive.

It is not overheating. Sometimes it doesn't even turn on. I have no idea why it's doing this. It started when I was trying to edit a 1hr vid in sony Vegas 14, the PC just froze. I restarted it and tried again. Same thing happened 4-5 times and I tried once again.

It was freezing until I opened a game (fortnite). It's run fine for about 15 mins then it would freeze.

Everytime it freezes I get a little click noise in my headphone and everything just stops. It also freezes on startup.

Does anyone know what I should do?

There's a good chance your hard drive is failing.

The hardrives are all really badly mounted. They just sit in the back of my case. No mounts for them. I'll check them.

That wouldn't be the reason. It would be an internal issue with your drive. RMA it if that's the case.

Probably RMA your hard drive or just buy another one. Make sure its actually the hard drive btw.

How do I know if it's definitely the harddrive?

I'm extremely high right now, so I'm not really much help. Try googling it or just wait for someone else to respond.
