Hi.

I was wondering if I could fit a Megaflow fan as an intake fan for the front of my 650d case. I've searched this online and got mixed results. Some say that the fan will fit, others say that it won't. I know the fan will be able to fit if I move the HDD cages, but I'd prefer not to.

If the fan does not fit, can someone suggest another 200mm led fan that I could get?

I don't see why it can't fit. The front fan of the Obsidian 650D is 200mm and so is the Megaflow.

If you regard my facts as wrong, feel free to rectify it.

The problem is that the Megaflow is thicker than the default fan. I'm not entirely sure that it can fit without being blocked by the hard drive cages.

It won't fit with the hard drive cages installed. It easily fits if you remove them.

Oh. Can you suggest me another 200mm led fan then?

There aren't really any 20mm thick fans that would perform much better than the stock fan. Why not just get the megaflow and move the hdd cage over?

I have a non-modular power supply so I use the extra room as a junk yard for my unused cables. However, I really hate the noise coming from the stock fan so I'll probably end up going with your suggestion.

Just hide the cables behind the side panel. There should be plenty of room.
