batshit overkill ram, just get a 3000-3200mhz kit. don't need a 960 evo if you're just gaming, an MX500 will be more than enough.

Ok, thanks for the ram advice, and I will be using Adobe premiere, but you are right that a 960 Evo is overkill for just gaming

SLI support in the future, better single threaded performance, faster SSD.

 

Also I am just considering this as an option, I most likely won't upgrade the more I use common sense

you're better off selling your old GPU and getting a better one rather than going with SLI, and i don't really think spending $400-500 is worth it for the performance, i'd just get a decent cooler and overclock the 1700x. you can also just replace the 850 evo with the 960 evo too.
