Windows 10 Powerplan auto. activation

Hey guys,

im running into an issue with Windows 10.

For an stable running System i need to run Ryzen PP on my current system.

The problemis that, windows10 is automaticly changing to Balanced PP at an random point.

Someone can tell me how to get rid of that problem?

Is it possible to make the Ryzen PP the lonely one so the change is "blocked"?

I recall Ryzen having power management issues with Windows. A patch from Windows was made to solve it.

This might be the patch in action. I don't know for sure.

But alternatively (if I am wrong), you have a software that changes power plans for you. That is the only explanation I can have as they are APIs in Windows to do so.

In any case, you want your system to be set to Balance at all time. The CPU and Windows communicate between each other to have very low latency delay in managing the power management of the system. Setting to High Performance only makes your computer hot, loud and waste power for nothing. Not even in benchmark score you'll see bump outside of the normal error percentage range. If anything, you will lose performance as the CPU won't turbo boost higher or longer due to the warmer state of the CPU (depending on the cooling solution you have)
