Yes you can use 6700k on Z270, and here is an oz site with plenty. they also have local stores for pickup.

Anyone know where I can get a micro-atx board that will support my i7 6700k? My local stores don't seem to stock anything like that. I was looking at the Gigabyte GA-Z170X Gaming 5, but anything will do at this point.

EDIT: OR can I just throw a 6700k into a newer z270 or z370 motherboard

literally all the mATX boards in Australia you can get (according to PCPP)
