New GPU

Well.... I really didn't want this to happen in this day and age with prices but my gpu fried and I need a new one fast. I'd prefer to be able to get it off amazon or something else where I can get it within the week. I had an R9 270 (no x) so pretty much anything would be an upgrade. I'm doing my own research as well but I just wanted to see if anyone here had any bright ideas.

I'd prefer cheap as I can get. I don't really want to be spending like $500 on the card but I will if I need to.

I would just grab a 1050 or 1050 Ti.

ok, what resolution and refresh rate is your monitor and what kind of games do you play at what settings?

I play on a 1080p monitor 60hz. I generally play league but also play a lot of overwatch, assassins creed, and such. I like to (obviously) play on the highest settings possible, but I assume at 1080p these days that really isn't that high a demand.

If you can find a used GTX 980 or 980Ti, those are usually pretty reasonably priced(in my area at least).

or an 970 for like 260 or so...

I think I'll opt for a 1050 ti or 1050 because then I can order it (easier for me). Anyone know which one would be good to go for? (what price is going to be average for a 1050 ti at this time).

1050 tis would cost around $220 at the cheapest. If you want a 1050 it'd be about $150

Also, I will be (obviously) going from team red to team green on this computer, will there be issues? I had issues going the other way years ago if I remember.

MSI,Asus,Galax,Evga and Zotac that get brand.they are all good service to help u incase.

The cryptocurrency minners bought up all the gpus to mine which drove up the prices and killed off any supply stores had.

Well I have got a way to buy cheap graphics card with new condition.

It is just going to cost some days. you will have up to 10% off for a graphics card. For example you buy an EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC on amazon for $1000+

but using this website: phongvu.com and use shipping it will only make up $950-$1000 but cost few days and you muse use Vietnamese dollars.

I have not tried this yet but my cousin got an Asus GT 730 1GB GDDR5 Phoenix fan for only $61.11 (not counting shipping fee), on amazon: about $90.
