Hey,

This is my first post here, and I already have to bug you guys with a question.

I got a GTX 970 since yesterday, tested the card in two systems and they both crash when windows loads.

It looks like this is a driver problem.

I tried this a few times: remove drivers, install card, install older version of the driver. Still crashing.

Updated motherboard BIOS, did reset CMOS, lots of stuff, that should not actually matter, but just in case.

Anyone some suggestions? :(

Linux live disk works, also, windows boots without the nvidia driver, once it installs, game over.

try W7, microsoft have an ISO with 30 days trial iirc.

If it doesnt work on w7 its probably a 3d mode brick. Thats why it fails when the driver is installed.
