H100i cooler, temperature odd (hardwaremonitor.exe)

Currently concerned about my brother's rig. The specs are listed in the photo. He has a h100i cooler. I am confused as to why one of the cpu temperatures monitored on hardware.exe is 108 degrees celsius. this is a fresh install of windows with almost nothing on it. the pump is active and fans are spinning.
