Will a FX-4300 be compatible with this motherboard ASUS AMD AM3+ 760G 2*DDR3 2*USB3.0 8*USB2.0 GBE LAN VGA DVI Micro-ATX MOTHERBOARD                   as I have no idea?

Is it in the compatible cpu list on the makers website? Check there first. It should work fine

 

But really, stay away from am3, its slow, old and hot.

Why are you going ror Fx try and get a 1200 it will do alot better or older intel if you want to use ddr3

It does with newer BIOS revisions, but unless it's dirt cheap, dont buy it. Intel stuff of the same age are vastly superior and not all that expensive.

I bought it on the 11th November 2017 but its way overdue for return now #18th jan 2018
