Hello guys,

I'm pretty sur that my gpu is dead but I want experts ideas about the problem and if there is solutions. When i turn the pc on the graphic card fans are turning on for 2 seconds and then shut down. The screen is black and it says no signal. The monitor works, the HDMI cable works and when I remove the gpu and plug the HDMI in the mother board it works. So the issue comes from the graphic card but is it really dead? Has it short-circuited?

Thanks a lot and please forgive my english :)

Do you have another PC, maybe a friend's, that you can test the GPU in?

Also, try with a different PCIe slot.

Yes everything else works properly. i tried in another slot, same. But in an other pc is there really a chance that it works? that seems to me not realy probable but if you say yes i will try.

Sorry, also the gpu was already in the pc since i built it but since a few month games like battlefront 2 were crashing without a reason and the pc was very slow (i don't know if it's because of the gpu or not)

Now i tested the graphics card in an other pc and it works... and suddenly not any more. So the card on this pc works when i'm turning the pc on but after 30 seconds doesn't (No signal detected). The fans are still turning on for 2 seconds and then shut off. Sadly I have no time to look if the pc has seen that it's a gtx 1050.

Thanks guys for the help :)
