Upgrade suggestions? Max out current build

Hi guys, I'm wanting to basically max out my do-it-all 6900k build and am not sure about the graphics card situation. 

 

Currently have two EVGA gtx 1080 Ti FTW3 in SLI stock, the CPU is using a 360mm AIO (haven't oc since I upgraded the mb from Asus Sabertooth x99 to ROG Maximus V edition 10 but it was doing 4.5ghz fine on the old board) and i just got 4 x 16gb gskill 3200mhz CL14 kit to replace the old 8x8 @2666mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX kit since it seems 3200 is about as fast as x99 is happy with and 4 dimm should be less strain on the memory controller than 8.

 

I'm going to upgrade the 1tb 960 Pro to 2tb since games are huge, and swap the 4tb bulk storage hdd for a 4tb Samsung 950 EVO but that still leaves the graphics situation. 

 

Before building a full custom loop, I'm not sure if I should swap the 1080 Ti cards for a pair of Titan Xp since they are a tiny bit more powerful stock for stock, a Titan V since most games are not optimized for SLI anyway and it is the most powerful single card right now, or wait till April to see if Nvidia has better cards out by then. 

 

Already have the Titan cards so I can use them whenever, but can wait 2 months if that's a good idea. 

 

Any suggestions are welcome - just looking for ideas so I don't have to redo the loop once it is all put together.

You sure like to waste money on nothing right? My suggestion? Nothing. Exactly. If a 1080 Ti SLI is not enough for you then I don't know what will.

First off, don't get the 960 pro. Just get another big sata ssd. Nvme doesn't improve stuff like boot times and app launch times much at all so you're better off getting a bigger sata ssd.

 

Swapping to Titan Xps is useless unless you're willing to water cool them. 1080 tis can OC higher due to better coolers, so unless you'll custom water cool there's no reason at all to waste so much money, you're essentially throwing it out the window. If you actually want a performance jump wait for the next generation.

Thank you! I may do that with the ssd but I already have a 1tb 960 pro as the OS and programs drive so it's more of a "just because" at this point. 

 

The goal is to build my first custom loop water cooling setup so definitely I can go the Titan Xp route if it will technically outdo the current 1080 Ti's once water cooled. 

 

It's not really a money issue, i just want to squeeze every last drop out of this build and I already have a Titan V and 2 Titan Xp available.

Neither would give an appreciable performance benefit tbh. I would honestly go for the next generation.
