Gigabyte 780 OC Problem

I recently bought a Gigabyte 780 OC, and on both the retailer's website and gigabyte's (http://www.cplonline.com.au/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-780-oc-3gb-ga-n780oc-3gd.html) (http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4621#sp) it states that it uses one 6 pin and one 8 pin connector. Upon receiving the card though, it uses two 8 pin connectors. Does this mean I will have to use two separate PCIe 8 pin connectors? For clarification, the PCIe cables I got with the PSU are 2x 8/6 pin connectors. - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15_995&products_id=23149 Please help, and thank you

If it has two 8 pin connectors then it uses two 8 pin connectors. It can't be that hard to work out -_-

... I just wasn't sure if I could use two separate pcie cables and leave the two left over 6 pins just hanging. Jeeze
