This is a $2000 USD build for mainly gaming but also, maybe some editing in the future. I intend to add another GPU in the future so that is the reason behind the large PSU. I have an OS in it and will probably OC (still a little undecided). I want it in the Prodigy M so I might not OC because of airflow issues. No other peripherals. I have put them into a PCpartpicker list even though I will be buying from Newegg

Thanks

Why only H80i? If you're going that cheap, just get a NH-D14.

I am worried about height clearance. also, that would be a little louder than the H80i I would think. I went full retard

The NH-D14 is 9386152745610823740982572097409823460982357098 times quieter than the H80i. No idea what you are talking about.

Noticed you're going with an Asus Maximus Gene board, good choice!

Not a lot more to get the Blue Ray player then you know you can play HD blu ray discs and be futureproof, also look at a SSHD (hybrid) in the same size it again is best of both worlds and good for games and storage files.

got to love Asus components

The h80i isn't even quiet and is considered pretty loud.

@zxcvbnmmssdh

By editing, do you just mean game footage?

I wouldn't recommend the 780 Ti as it's a bad value.

Are you dead set on the Prodigy case?

What I mean by editing is some game footage and maybe some just regular footage. Do you have another recommendation for a GPU. The reason I chose that is for the SLI down the road will b better and turn into the best value. Also, I want the Prodigy case so I can take it around easily. @Worth and I have some friends as well and we go to their houses and such and it will be easier in this case. Do you have another suggestion with handles and can be transported easily? I am going to go with the H80i most likely because I am worried that the NH-D14 will restrict airflow.

The NH-D14 shouldn't restrict airflow since it will be pushing air in the same direction as the case fans.

I'd recommend waiting for aftermarket 290's to see how they fare.

Another reason why the 780 ti is so appealing is g-sync coming up soon, Shadowplay, compatibility with the Shield, and the game bundle (it comes with AC3, Arkham Origins, and Splinter Cell Blacklist). I will most likely get the NH-D14 seeing that you got a 4.5 ghz OC on your CPU with that. Does it handle that OC well?

The cooler? It's great for oc's. My chip? Not so good.

You could get 4.5 ghz off of a 212 Evo depending in your chip.

AMD is coming with their own Shadowplay called Experience - Predator. I wouldn't worry about G-sync until it hits higher resolution ips panels. It's not worth going 1080p TN atm just for gsync especially wen you can already just push 60+ fps for most games. If you're getting the Shield, you don't have much choice but to go Nvidia but I wouldn't get the 780 Ti. It's a bad value. I'd go for the 780 instead.
