LVDS to DP recommendations

zackdawley

I have several laptop monitor screens, including a few touch screen. I want to integrate them into the side panel of a few desktops I have, but I have had a hard time finding quality adapters (especially for 144hz).I would like the controller to be able to push at least QHD @144Hz, for at least one, and the others 1200p with touch built in. Everything is display port already, so I'd really like to be able to go straight from the gpu without another interface adapter (though I can live with HDMI if I have no other option.

I've been able to overclock many to at least 90 Hz... Most of it is the controller, not the panel.

Either way I would spend more for the controller to have the option

unless you are very lucky to find one for the exact panel you have there you will either have to build your own or forget about it.

these things are way too specialized to have a one fits all solution available.

someone that did just that would be Zis form ziswork who made the electronics to drive a panel at 4k 120hz or 1080p 240hz via two display ports.

The stuff he made may give you an idea what you are going into but for sure wont work with the panels you have.
