Cheaper 580 vs 1060

I know its a bad time to buy a graphics card due to inflation, but i found a cheap rx 580 and a more expensive gtx 1060 6gb. Which one should i go for?

Go for the cheaper, they're both around the same performance, varies game-to-game. Some roundups had the 580 up 5%, some had it down 5%.

I am an AMD fan, always had an AMD card and hated Nvidia. I wanted an RX 560 or 570 but went with a 1050 ti, and I think that NVidias are better and have better software.
