It depends on what kind of music you listen to, whether you prefer open or closed headphones.

The FiiO E10 is a good choice, I have one myself, and it'll work on any PC with Windows or Mac.

You only need a USB port.

Just ordered DT 880 pro 250O. Decided to go with these as they're semi open while the COP are closed and bass heavy while in theory the 880s should have a lot of bass but still be somewhat balanced.

 

But if you find the DT 880s at the COPs price go for them they usually cost almost double [at least here]

 

I also can recommend the Xonar Essence STX and the SoundBlaster Z. Both good soundcards. [i'm using the Xonar, bro is using the Blaster].

COP's if you want a portable headphone, 880's is you want to leave them at home.
