I changed the address in the Windows Device Manager. No ports were being forwarded to that address.

well it's obvious unspoofing it will fix it.
What I recommend is to use Multiple NICs. If you're trying to get a new IP assigned from the pool and you're plugged directly in without a router, then that's the best way. Even a few USB NICs will do the trick.

Really I recommend you get a few cheapo routers to do this or some kind of PF sense router with a few nics to rotate between

Or, assuming you're like on a dorm network or something at a university and you need to use a particular mac that's registered, spoof with one computer and bridge to this computer using a shared connection. I mean there's ways to do with virtual adapters and stuff, but this keeps it simple. I know some of those networks will auto ban routers. If a particular mac isn't what you need, again a few usb adapters.

Recently I've had to change (spoof) my MAC address.

Unfortunatelythis has lead to Uplay and Origin not being able to connect to their respective servers.

Steam seems to have no issues with this though, so I'd like to know if there's any way to fix this without changing back to my old address.

Help is much appreciated.

What did you change it to and where did you change the MAC address? On your PC or router?

If you had port forwarding setup to your old internal IP address (ex: 192.168.x.x) then you probably got a new address and will need to adjust port forwarding to point to your new internal address.

The biggest question for me is why? Unless you're directly connected and getting an external IP address then it won't do anything really but give you a different DHCP lease on the local network.

You could always try changing it to something else or reverting back and then using the same address but increment the last digit by 1
