Well, brown's aren't exactly quiet, but they are way more quiet than blues and are quite common.

You can add special O-rings to dampen the sound a bit more if you so desire. Cherry MX-blacks are pretty quiet also, if you're effectively ramming on your keycaps like me

True, but the issue that blacks/black knockoffs is that they aren't that common.

Anything with MX Reds/Speeds are generally rather quiet; but if you're looking for Membrane Keyboard quiet i don't think a mechanical switch like that exists (i could be wrong there)

Get a Topre keyboard.

Well the wooting one can be as silent as you can handle it. With switches being 256 step laser measure, there is no switch being switce'd.
