Milk jugs are not made from sheets of plastic but are mold injected.

They melt plastic pellets. And no I dont know any suppliers.

Bottles are made melting plastic pellets and forcing it into an injection mold, then air is added into it.

Think of something like a mini bottle, heated, inside a mold, then air is used to expand it.

PETE is the plastic used in beverage bottles. Milk plastic bottles is HDPE. Here we get 25 cents for 1L+ and 10 cents for everything under, including milk, tetra, excluding cream.

Suppliers are mainly in Asia but can be found locally.

You need to search for THERMOFORM plastic sheets which is the hobby plastic sheets.

https://primoplasticpellets.com/

https://merlinplastics.com/products/

Alibaba is a good source, as well there are trading websites all over the place to get your pellets from.

You have to understand to a materials engineer the word "plastic" is like saying the word "rock" to a geologist.  There are lots of different kinds of plastics, some popular ones:

ABS - Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
PLA - Polylactic Acid
HDPE - High Density Polyethylene

Then you have groups of plastics such as "Nylons" and many other similar polymer materials that are "Acrylics".  Searching plastic may not return much if you're searching for materials, you'll have to search for a specific material by its chemical or trade name.  For example, if you wanted strong clear sheet of plastic "Lexan" would be a good plastic to search.

Such as:

Or:

Or you can look at bulk material retailers like McMaster-Carr:
